General Overseer of LoveWorld Ministries, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome has stated that abortion is permissible in certain circumstances. A statement obtained from a Facebook post from Christembassy Naples conveyed the cleric’s position.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, yesterday, during Christ embassy's Communion Service answered the question: "Can a baby that is a product of rape be aborted?'

Using David and Bethsheba's case to answer the question, Pastor Chris said despite David's prayer and fasting, the child who was a result of David's sin still died.

His words:
No child should be brought into this world by force, if a lady has been molested, it is left for her to make a decision of whether to keep the baby or not. If you have never been molested or someone close to you haven't, you may not agree with this statement.
It is never mentioned anywhere in the bible, to keep a child from a woman who was molested!

I think PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME is totally WRONG here again!

Sometime ago, he said masturbation is not a sin and now, he is advocating abortion.

Did God support abortion of any king or did He give condition in the Bible, from Genesis to revelation, where an unborn innocent child of God should killed? If the answer is NO, then why must Pastor Chris encourage the killing of an innocent unborn baby simply because the mother was molested? I am sometimes baffled over statements accredited to some men of God.

The life of every baby is precious to God and killing that developing baby on purpose is a serious sin against God. Weather that of rape or not.

As for the case of David, God already promised the child will die. Yes, God actually took the child! He own the life of every human. He gives and take life as He so wishes. No Human is even autorised to take his/her own life not to mention that of others.

God is already aware of the developing fetus and has already taken account of it as a living thing. Psalms 139: 13-16:-

13. For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb.

14 I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.[a]
Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.

15 My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth.

16 Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.

Deuteronomy 5:17 :- Thou shalt not kill! I think God's view on life is clear enough. So brothers and sisters in the, LORD DO NOT BE DECEIVED! There is no excuse for killing. IT IS A SIN PERIOD.
