Naomi Campbell Pays Tribute To L'Wren Scott Following Shock News Of Her Death

"I am deeply shocked and devastated by the news. L'Wren was someone I knew since I was 17," wrote Naomi Campbell on a WhoSay post. "L'Wren was someone I always loved. She was the epitome of elegance and femininity yet still had a girlish quality," she added.
Scott grew up in Utah and started her fashion career as a model in Paris, shortly after graduating from high school. She moved to California in the 1990s, where she started her career as a celebrity stylist and fashion designer.

Scott's designs had been worn by stars such as Sarah Jessica Parker, Angelina Jolie, Nicole Kidman on the red carpet. She also designed costumes for movies such as "Diabolique," "Ocean’s Thirteen," and "Eyes Wide Shut."

Former model, celebrity stylist and fashion designer, and long-time partner of Mick Jagger L'Wren Scott was found dead in her Manhattan apartment in an apparent suicide Monday. She was 49 years old.
